1. Creating Content
Content resources can come from advertisements, brochures, fliers, promotional items, or any kind of marketing materials you have used before. This is not the designer's responsibility, and you should not wish it to be. After all, it is your business to provide accurate information to your clients. So gather up all the resources that you have and decide what you should use. Remember to always provide photos in digital or the best quality possible. Photos can also be provided. Your web designer will make them smaller as necessary.

2. Getting Ready for Layout
Website layout is one of the more important processes, as the layout can have a great effect on the flow of your website. Organization is the key to a successful website. When a potential client asks how they should deliver the content, I can best describe this as creating a table of contents and then presenting those chapters with headings, text, and of course, photos or images. Most clients provide their information in a Microsoft Word file with the photos presented where ever they like. If you do this, be sure to provide your website designer with seperate copies of images used in your document. We would be happy to help you in this process.

3. Design
A good web designer will ask you how you would like your website to look. The look of your site is entirely up to you, and by now you should have an idea of the look and feel you desire. If there are other sites you like, provide web links to your designer so that he or she has a good idea of what you're after. This will point your designer in the right direction and save time in the long run. If you provide your designer with enough input about the look you are after, he or she will have a better chance at hitting the nail on the head in one try.

4. Entering Content
In this process the website designer applies the layout to the design and then inserts all content.* The designer then installs different applications or scripts that make the site more dynamic, such as movies, flash, or forms.
*Footnote: Good designers use css with tableless designs to create fast loading and smooth looking content, paying attention to different internet browsers.

That's right! The moment you've been waiting for is just around the corner. Just a few things to check and adjust as nesessary.

Pay close attention to fonts, text justification, image spacing and any other fine tuning details.
Internet Browsers
Check other internet browsers. When viewing your website in other browsers, there might be some small variances, which is normal, but make sure all the content is visible and not floating or overlapping.
