Project Description
Friends of NELHA (FON) is an independent, volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting education and outreach programs at Keahole Point Hawaii, where NELHA is recognized worldwide as a unique and innovative ocean research, business and research. Under the Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii Authority, Friends of NELHA wanted to bring special attention to Hawai'i Energy Future and thus a news site was created. Volunteers take care of the site maintenance and posting of new articles/pages to their non-profit website. Equipped with streaming media, schedules, and all types of energy and aquaculture on The Big Island of Hawaii as well as the State of Hawaii.
